According to some recent studies turmeric, a spice used mainly in Indian medicine, already used for its anti-cancer, would have beneficial effects for the prevention of ischemic events. Turmeric, in fact, could repair four signaling pathways that accelerate the death of neurons after a stroke. Scholars have demonstrated the action exerted by a synthetic form of turmeric and highlighted the positive impact that causes the decreased risk of ischemic stroke.
